First Treasure Hunt

I've always heard how interesting and fun a treasure hunt can be, but an opportunity to join one had never come my way until now.

I Quit

Yesterday, I did what I had been worrying about and planning to do for the past 2-3 weeks. I resigned. One step nearer to achieving change in my life.

Bloody Confession

It's quite a paradox having a background in biochemistry and never done a blood test before; let alone know my blood type...

But such is the case and this is my confession.

Today marks the first time I've had blood drawn from my body. And it was not as scary as I thought it would be. Yes, a little pain but just for about 2 seconds and it was done!

This is one of my investments - conquering a fear factor for an opportunity. Praise the Lord!

Today in SM History

Today in SM history,

1. I said "yes" to an opportunity. So begins the process of change again and hoping it'll be a smooth transition.
2. Took the LRT to Pasar Seni for lunch with ML. Nearly got knocked down by a motorcycle while crossing the road (It was 'green light' for pedestrian crossing).
3. Had dinner at the newly re-opened Burger King in Shah Alam (after it burned down months ago).

All Nervous and Making a Fool of Myself

Dissatisfaction has been growing lately. None directly impacting me but I can foresee what the future is going to be like, especially come August. And because of this knowledge, I decided to explore other opportunities. With very little related experience, I was doubtful as to whether I would be given a chance to prove myself. But I wanted a change, and the only person who could give me this change was ME.

An Engagement Party

As we grow older, the trends in our circles of friends evolve. And at this point in time, I see in abundance statuses, photos, event invitations, friends' wall messages congratulating them on their recent marriage or engagement whenever I log into Facebook. News of a marriage can become a non-event when you see a new one announced on Facebook every other day. But it really is something else when your close friends start embarking on this part of life's journey.

Hopeless to Hope

Monday had been a difficult day emotionally. Not because of any arguments or massive scolding or dreaded confrontation. Nothing really unpleasant happened. But it was just one of those days where even the weather gets on your nerves. And well, having someone condescending did not help either.

He Knows

God is good. I'm very touched that whenever I'm feeling really down, He sends someone to buzz me - "snap out of it!". And it is always someone who is cheery in nature. He knows. Praise God - in happy and sad times.

My Paranoia Realised

Maybe I'm just IT-illiterate or plain paranoid, but I have always had an insecurity issue about office email accounts - that Big Brother is watching every word you type somewhere out there...
